My Project

I am working with the social studies teacher to design a Book Tasting Activity to read historical fiction texts.

Having a Book Tasting Activity Unit in reading and social studies classes will really be exciting for our middle school students!

I enjoy working with the other teachers on my team to have our students work on projects for both disciplines. We designed a Book Tasting Activity Unit where our students will read Historical Fiction texts and learn about history. One aspect of our project is for our students to create placemats using Paterson Paper White Paper Placemats Disposable - 10” x 14” to discuss the time in history for their Book Tasting Activity. Students will use Crayola colored pencils bulk packl to design a Placemat about the time in history that goes with the book topic they chose for the Book Tasting Activity. I can't wait to see which time in history my students choose. I can't wait to see the excitement build in our classes for the Book Tasting Event. I love reading and want to ignite the love of reading throughout our sixth grade team of students this year.
