I can not believe I'm heading into year 27 of teaching! My classroom is buzzing with eager first grade learners. Using cooperative learning centers fosters relationships and enhances learning! Providing good quality materials for students to enhance their learning gets them excited to learn! Allowing students the power to choose their materials and flexible seating helps with ownership and accountability. Students will be more engaged and motivated while working in blended learning centers with materials that engage and help to foster critical thinking skills. Using cooperative reading and math center areas during blended learning time allows students of all abilities to work together and learn from one another while developing important relationships and self assurance. Learning critical thinking skills at age 6-7 will foster critical thinkers and problem solvers in the future!
