Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My third grade students and I have read and enjoyed the pencils on strike book. This book teaches them to take better care of their materials. They are so excited to get new pencils to write down their graphic novels, math work and other exciting thoughts in a third grader's day.

Having the tools they need for school will give them the confidence they need to tackle any task!

Sadly, many of my students do not have the basic necessary school supplies to complete day to day projects.

It is difficult to plan lessons when your students do not have even the basic supplies such as pencils. Many mornings begin with the first few minutes looking for pencils to complete the day's assignments. With your help, we can change that! This project would provide each group of students with a table supply caddy filled with pencils to begin the day prepared!
