My Students

My students are eager to learn! They come to school each day with smiles on their faces, regardless of their home environment. Many of my students are English language learners or their families are struggling in this economy. I also teach in a high poverty school, both of these present challenges in the classroom.

My students are passionate middle schoolers!

They are beginning to form opinions of their own and make me smile every day! Teaching in a small town has its advantages because I have been able to truly build relationships with my students as we continue to learn through this pandemic.

My Project

My classes are in need of notebooks, pencils, and colored pencils with a dedicated sharpener. The duct tape will help with organizing. The notebooks will help them keep their notes together and the colored pencils will help the strategies that they have learned more engaging with some color!

Paper and pencils are the most basic supplies for any student!

Since I entered a few months into the school year, the notebooks they began school have been used, I would like my students to have a dedicated notebook for all of their ELA notes. Colored pencils and a dedicated sharpener will help brighten up their notes!
