This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The Composition Notebook, EXPO Low Odor Dry Erase Markers, Pencils and other materials included in this project are simple things my fifth graders use every single day. We use our whiteboards to practice complex problems as a group or in small groups. Students love using whiteboards, so it brings a little fun to math instruction. For now, we just need some fresh whiteboard markers and erasers to get us through the rest of the year.

We need plenty of room to make mistakes during math, so the new set of composition notebooks will allow students to take notes and practice.

The erasers are a much-needed addition as we practice long division of decimals and we need an easy way to try again! My students love math and it is one of my favorite times of the day as well. The struggle and growth during math lessons are so evident. These supplies will help my mathematicians make it to the end of the 5th-grade year. Thank you for considering a donation to my classroom!
