My Project

My students have grown by leaps and bounds in the past year since we started a successful micro-enterprise. Our classroom coffee cart business provides all students the chance to interact with customer service skills, basic skills and work habits. Every one of them has shown growth in these areas.

My students are enrolled in a Life Skills program with an emphasis on improving their functional life skills as well as learning work habits and skills.

The classroom business provides the perfect opportunity for my students to work on these skills and each semester we work to learn new skills. This semester we are hoping to improve our ordering, advertising and organizational skills with the use of a white boards, erasers, cards, markers, and to show off weekly specials.
