Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students absolutely love learning and enjoy coming to school every day. They have severe and profound disabilities with significant needs. It is important for me to create a classroom environment that will meet their specialized needs. They thrive in an organized learning environment.

It is exciting for them to have their personal learning materials organized in a way that they can access them as independently as possible.

I will utilize the different storage bins to organize their materials by subject and IEP goals. I will use the binders to create individualized work that students will be able to complete independently. The three-drawer carts will be independent work systems for my students. All of these organizational materials will help me create a structured learning environment that supports my students' needs.

I have seen how an organized and structured learning environment benefits students. I hope to provide my students with this experience!
