My Student's Dream Classroom

Help me give my students their dream classroom! My fourth graders wrote persuasive essays about the items they think would best benefit our class, and I have created this DonorsChoose project based on their writing.

My Project

I work with two wonderful classes of bright, inspiring, energetic, and hard working fourth grade students.

To help them understand the power of the written word, this year I tasked them with writing a persuasive essay about what items they think would best benefit our class, and I told them I would create a donors choose project based on their essays.

Each student had to research, take notes, plan, draft, and edit and revise their proposal before they could submit it to me. The students all had great ideas on how to improve the classroom- from flexible seating, to materials to support their social emotional learning, I was so impressed with each of their essays. Please help me bring my student's dreams to reality and help them connect what we are doing in the classroom to the real world by donating to our project!
