You help us achieve success in the classroom.\r\n\r\nThe students were so excited to have new things, and we had to try them out that very day. You would have thought it was Christmas or their birthday.\r\n\r\nMy students love the traceable writing books. They love to wait and watch the ink disappear! This has help with their letter formation.\r\n\r\nI especially appreciate the Magic Boards with their pre-writing practice cards. These are so great for the students that are struggling the most as they start with the basic lines needed to form the letters. Using these help to strengthen their hand muscles which helps steady their hands as they write and help build the muscle memory for forming the lines needed to put together as they move into writing actual letters. \r\n\r\nI had a group of about 8 students that were really struggling and these have help them make great progress with their writing. The students are proud of their progress and get excited to share their writing.","fullyFundedDate":1736190687444,"projectUrl":"project/handwriting-help/9023484/","projectTitle":"Handwriting Help!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Belnap","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/7147484"},{"teacherId":7089214,"projectId":8967970,"letterContent":"Thank you for all the support with these amazing resources your donation provided! Your contributions are making a tangible difference in the way our students learn and engage with the world around them.\r\n\r\nMany of you may be familiar with technology at home, but I wanted to share how we're using it to enhance the educational experience here at school. The Tonie's, with their interactive audio stories and figures, have proven to be a truly transformative tool. They are helping our students in several key ways:\r\n\r\nThe engaging narratives on the Tonie's are fostering a love of reading and storytelling. Students are actively listening, developing their vocabulary, and improving their comprehension skills. The ability to pause, rewind, and re-listen allows them to learn at their own pace and focus on specific words or phrases. For our younger learners, the Tonie's are a fantastic way to introduce phonics and build early literacy foundations. \r\n\r\nThe Tonie's empower students to learn independently. They can choose their own stories and control the playback, fostering a sense of ownership over their learning. This is particularly valuable during learning centers or quiet time. \r\n\r\nThe multi-sensory approach of the Tonie's caters to a variety of learning styles. Auditory learners benefit from the spoken word, while visual learners are engaged by the accompanying figures. The tactile experience of interacting with the Toniebox further enhances engagement. \r\n\r\nThe excitement surrounding the Tonie's is palpable! The students are absolutely thrilled with them. They love choosing which Tonie they want to listen to and often gather around to share stories together. The element of play that the figures provide adds another layer of engagement, making learning feel fun and interactive.","fullyFundedDate":1738252323160,"projectUrl":"project/storyimagination-station/9055257/","projectTitle":"Story/Imagination Station","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lopez","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-7_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/8647692"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_58838","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":713,"numTeachers":45,"percentFrplEligible":38,"percentAsian":1,"percentBlack":5,"percentWhite":32,"percentIndigenous":4,"percentLatinx":45,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"Pre-K - 4","studentTeacherRatio":"15.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":75.5,"schoolId":58838,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Madison Rose Lane Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Madison Rose Lane Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/arizona/madison-school-district/madison-rose-ln-elementary-school/58838"}
