Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My second grade students are energetic, creative, and eager to learn. They thrive when learning is active, engaging, and supported with positive encouragement. Each day, they work hard to build academic skills while also learning important life skills like responsibility, teamwork, and perseverance.

Many of my students are motivated by hands-on activities, movement, creative expression, and recognition for their effort.

Creating a classroom environment that supports the whole child helps them stay focused, confident, and excited about coming to school.

This project will provide essential materials that support motivation, engagement, and daily learning in our classroom. The requested items include:

-Classroom treasure box incentives to celebrate effort, positive behavior, and academic growth

-PE equipment to encourage movement, teamwork, and healthy activity

-Headphones to support focused learning during independent technology and small group work

-Art supplies for creative projects and hands-on learning

-Expo markers for interactive lessons, whiteboard practice, and small group instruction

-Fun Friday materials to provide enrichment and reward hard work

-Holiday and celebration items that can be given to students to build classroom excitement and community

These resources will be used daily to keep students actively engaged, supported, and motivated across all areas of learning.
