My Project

Hi! My name is Ms. McGovern and I teach 3rd grade math and science at an Elementary School! I would greatly appreciate more science resources in order to cultivate a more hands-on learning environment. I hope to instill a love of science and math learning within my students. In order to do that, I need many hands-on, engaging tasks that will benefit our classroom learning environment, but also our classroom culture. My school has a very high English Language Learner population, which can make it difficult to give them the experiences from videos and book lessons. I have included many manipulatives, science tools, and other resources that will bring the hands-on learning to our classroom. I want my students to learn by doing and seeing the progress the plants make or the visual comparison of fractions on their desks, in the classroom. My sweet kiddos and I would appreciate anything that you are willing to give to my future scientists and mathematicians. Thank you!
