My students need 4 hockey/soccer goals. I have made some goals from PVC, but they don't last and break all the time.

My Students

Do you remember playing soccer with cones instead of good goals? It is just not the same. Do you remember playing hockey with cones instead of good goals? It is just not the same.

My students love to play indoor soccer.

They get a lot of activity. The games are fun and intense. We have some home made goals, but they constantly break. PVC just doesn't last in middle school classes. I have glued them, duct taped them, and just switched to using cones. It is just not the same.

My Project

Kids want the thrill of getting the ball in the net. The PVC goals we have just don't last. Metal goals are too expensive for out budget. We have been using duct taped goals or cones. Our kids deserve better. Our kids deserve the feeling of getting a ball in the net.

I believe if they enjoy an activity they will continue doing it their whole life.

Having quality goals means greater enjoyment of our soccer/hockey unit. This translates into more kids being active in their lifetime. The kids are worth it.
