Students at this school are frequently late or absent. I have created a morning basketball program before school. Kids come to school early to play basketball or ping pong or just hang out and listen to music and watch the games. I believe it gives kids who are the frequent no shows or tardy a reason to come to school early. It makes school a fun and safe place. It also gets their blood going before classes.
