Help me give my students remote access to Computer Science materials. We are currently seeking a subscription to BrainPop and BrainPop ENL for our English Language Learners to have a safe digital space that will support CS learning.

My Students

My school is located on the South Shore of Staten Island. Our population is diverse as we serve students from various ethnicities, learning styles and emotional needs. We pride ourselves with addressing the needs of the child as a whole. Social Emotional Intelligence is an integral part of everything we do. We are located in a middle class neighborhood with students who are the children of parents who are comprised of professionals ranging from small business owners to civil servants. As these hard working parents are an integral part of our school community, we want to ensure that they know that their children are in a safe and secure place that fosters a love of learning every day. Our goal is to ensure that we make an impact in our students, enough to help them to decide to make a positive influence in their community now and in the future.

My Project

Using BrainPop and BrainPop ENL will allow our students more access to enriching activities and materials related to Computer Science. BrainPop has its own digital platform dedicated to coding and the many facets of a good computer science curriculum. All students will benefit from a subscription as they will be able to use all of the materials provided by BrainPop on their own digital devices, whether in school or learning in a remote capacity. BrainPop provides educational and age appropriate videos, games, activities and tutorials that will engage every student regardless of their learning style. Thank you for considering to help with our remote and in person classroom needs.
