My Project

Students should be able to come to school, and not have to worry about anything except for their education. Sadly, that's not always the case. This project is requesting items to help students who may need basic essential needs such as hair ties, hair gel, detangler, body washes, lotions and other related personal care items. If students feel good about themselves, that makes such a large difference while at school. All students in our building receive free breakfast and lunch and have a variety of home living situations.

I would like to start a care closet area for students with your help.

I hope to be able to help students with their personal care needs so they can focus on their academics. By having small travel size items students will be able to use the item at school and easily take it home with them to use there as well.

Helping to improve their personal hygiene will help improve many students' self-confidence.

Although this project will mostly serve my special education student population, I hope to be able to eventually expand it to all students in our building.
