Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To increase teamwork and individual sports skills, student-athletes must focus on practice and working together instead of fundraising. Too often low budgets require our team to hold fundraisers to purchase replacement or updated equipment. This takes away from the focus of work on the field and adds an additional level of stress to the student-athlete. There is never a guarantee that fundraising goals will be met and equipment will go years without being replaced. A donation towards this project will take us in a direction where we can focus on the team and individual athlete development without having to worry about funding equipment.

With your donation, you will help us celebrate the successes of our senior athletes as they prepare for life after graduation with amazing senior awards.

The addition of these awards allow our seniors and underclassmen the opportunity to celebrate graduates together. This is accomplished by having the underclassmen hand make the shadow boxes that will be presented to the seniors who have served as their mentors. Help us celebrate some amazing female student-athletes!
