Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are thirsty. But some don't like to drink milk at lunch. And many don't bring any water to school. I teach motivated and energetic students at a diverse school. My students come from diverse backgrounds and enjoy jump roping, playing four square, and learning.

Most of my students don't come to school with water bottles.

They get thirsty throughout the day. Some students who don't drink much water may need more encouragement to drink other kinds of liquids like juice. The materials I'm requesting will be given to students who need something to drink at school (and who may or may not like drinking water). Staying hydrated will help keep my students focused on learning when they are at school.

Donations to this project will help students feel comfortable when they are at school. They will feel like one of their basic needs is being met. Staying hydrated throughout the day is important. I hope students will enjoy life essentials like fruit juice and vegetable juice!
