This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
As a Special Education teacher at a low-income and high poverty school, I know that my students have been through more than their fair share of obstacles by the time that they come to my classroom in 7th grade. It's hard to picture students with such challenges and even harder to teach students when school isn't the first item on their list of things to accomplish.
Teaching with love and support is my most important philosophy and my students need love and support more than anything.
By using the best materials, putting in very hard work, and creating a classroom family full of love, I know that my students can achieve anything that they set their mind to. My classroom is filled with determined and hard-working students. The only thing that we need now is the resources.
My Project
Having a flourishing classroom requires a lot of resources. The materials that I am requesting fall into many categories, but all of them will help my students learn.
Having the resources on this list will help my students succeed in school.
My students will use the gel pens to write in their journals every day. The dual temp hot glue gun will be used for crafts and other projects. The whiteboard/chalkboard cleaners will be used to keep all of our white boards clean. The shopping cart will be used to transport laptops, notebooks, and many other supplies to different areas. My students will be able to save their writing assignments on the jump drives. The batteries will be used for many things in our classroom. The resources from this project will be used every day by my students. Having these materials will make a huge difference for my students. They will use them for writing, math, art, and reading. I work very hard to provide supplies for my students. This project will give each of my students exactly what they need. Please help my students succeed with these supplies.
