My Project

I run a rigorous chemistry classroom, and instead of textbooks, we have created a unique curriculum that we print out for our students. This allows students to interact with their text, write notes, and keep data all in a packet that functions as a worksheet. My personal printer has been on its last leg for a few years, but like all things in education, we held it together with tape, glue, and a whole lot of hope. However, when I came back from winter break this year, my printer was dead and so were my hopes.

I print schedules for students, flyers, and our entire curriculum.

The amount of paper a classroom generates and consumes is massive, and having a nearby printer is necessary. The nearest public printer I can use is on the other side of our building--a whole city block away. It means I can no longer print out missing assignments or schedules for kids who need them in the event of an emergency.

This printer is the lifeblood of my classroom, and I'm struggling without it. Your gift would help me keep my classroom running smoothly and enable me to support my students effectively. Please help me get a printer nearby so I don't have to run around looking for my printouts!
