I teach middle school science in Chicago's Austin neighborhood. I am responsible for teaching Earth and Space Science, Life Science, and Physical Science to my students. Often, my classroom is the first time they have a science class. My students are inquisitive, thoughtful, and great at making connections. We use tons of materials, because science is a hands on learning process! This means that I'm always looking to restock on things as basic as baking soda, to as exotic as bromothymol blue!
