My Project

I am a Special Education teacher starting off in a new classroom in rural Michigan working with amazing students ranging from ninth to twelfth grade in a resource room. Each of the students has varied learning abilities.

As I look to the new school year I need to ensure that all of my students have all the necessary materials and supplies they need in my classroom such as pencil sharpeners.

The basic supplies I have in this project will give my students the much-needed pencils, dry erase markers, highlighters, etc...for the full school year and other classroom needs. My students are with me for most of their school day so having everything they need in one place is important.

Having all these needs readily available will make my students day less stressful.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
