Even high school kids get excited to pass out candy to the little ones, and that is exactly what we did on Halloween. The entire elementary lined up and paraded through our high school. Because of your donation, we all the high school students were able to hand out candy. \r\nWe used the donated bulbs to plant at the entryway at the city street that turns into our driveway. We can't wait to see what they look like in the Spring. \r\nFinally, the acrylic paints have been used by our leadership class to decorate windows in our little town. We regularly walk to town and paint for various holidays. It is such a good lesson in civics for the students to volunteer and a good partnership with local businesses. When I tell you that the painting committee squealed with glee when the package arrived, I am not exaggerating.
