My Project

After reading the requested book (and having a virtual discussion with the author), many students told me that they wanted a class copy of the book to keep in my classroom library at school.

By helping fund this project, you are helping place books in the hands of students as we read with a novel study.

The book “Eleven” is written by a beloved children’s literature author, Tom Rogers. This story is a historical fiction book about an eleven year old's experience of September 11th. My students do not have much knowledge of the horrific events that unfolded that day, and this book will help me teach recent American history as well as English standards that are set by the state.
