I will use the class set of this novel for students to be able to read and use at home during this difficult time. Right now, we cannot borrow books from other schools and my students have always loved reading this novel. My project will be used to help students dive into this adventure of three friends and we will practice making connections using this text. My students will use this book to learn about friendship, building relationships, and learning new vocabulary. "The Cricket in Times Square" is a classic tale of new friends exploring The Big Apple. My fifth graders would love to explore with Chester Cricket, Tucker Mouse, and Harry Cat!
