My 54 students just entered their 5th grade year and this year will also be their 5th year of Dual Chinese Immersion. They are the most energetic groups I've ever met. They love learning Chinese, doing activities, singing songs and reading books.
My Project
As a DLI Chinese teacher I know how challenging it is to learn a foreign languages could be, let alone learn science in that language. Those science experiment kits will provide students opportunities to observe and experiment the scientific phenomena, which will definitely stimulate their interest in science and make their journey of learning science more fun. The traditional Chinese game supplies will also let students have the opportunity to experience the games that Chinese children play, so as to make their Chinese learning more interesting. This project mainly covers the needs of the above two aspects, which I believe will promote my students' learning in both science and Chinese in all aspects, especially during this pandemic.
