Some of the items were used the very day they were received, and we are thrilled.\r\n\r\nThe first graders used those fluorescent markers with excitement when they learned that under black-lights, their lanterns that studied vertical horizontal diagonal lines, warm and cool colors, and 2D flat versus 3D form shapes, and striping with markers instead of overlapping which damages paper, are going to glow. Many students don't understand how to make a proper paragraph with indents. We have been able to purchase a poster with an example students can look at to make sure their writing looks like it. \r\nWe also have started to learn about Utah's history in Social Studies. To give us an overall view, we were able to purchase and use a lesson with a cut and glue timeline of the important events in our state's history.
