Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them. During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. It also helps when they are asked to read for an extended period of time to have a different seat to use. That is why I am asking for the the floor seats. I am excited for my kids to get the opportunity to read the war that saved my life and the boy who harnessed the wind! They are amazing books about perseverance and hard work! Using fun and engaging hands-on art as well as well-thought-out science projects gets them excited after all the hard work they have put into learning this year's content as well as all the things they missed because of at-home learning. Using sharpies helps my kids to have fun with the art instead of erasing everything to make it perfect! This year with the new science the kids will get to create their own roller coasters and use the marbles I asked for to help understand how energy is transferred!
