My Project

Our Kindergarteners are coming to school excited about the transition to school. They come in eager and willing to learn. It is my job to instill the love of learning and to ensure that they are on the path to becoming life-long learners.

Many important skills are taught during this tremendous year of Kindergarten.

Most of my students come in as blank canvases and by the end of the year they are able to read, write, add, and subtract. Students are taught how to be independent, sociable, responsible, respectful, and organized. The growth that these students make throughout the year is truly amazing.

We are in need of 3 class set of headphones to use with our tablets. Right now students are using headphones we had from 5 years ago. While some students have headphones, others do not due to broken headphones.

Having headphones to use with tablets would benefit our students and create a quieter environment for them to focus in.

Every year our school changes our school theme based around our character traits. Next year our theme is a "Sea of Kindness". We decorate our school bulletin boards, hallways, and classrooms to go along with our theme.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
