Hands on Learning

Help me give my students the opportunity to take a "hands on" approach to science and learning. With these materials, I will also be able to let them explore and share their learning in different ways.

My Students

My students are very curious kids. Each of them unique in their very own way. Together we have cultivated a classroom full of laughter, jokes, hard work and love. Each student has their own interests, whether it be gymnastics, soccer, robotics, painting, and even a love for plants. What they collectively love to do the most, is to be creative. Most of my students are from low income houses, so the classroom is where they have many things made available to them. Such things are books, computers, and sometimes, safety. Some of them face so much- they make me want to give them the world.

My Project

These materials will give my students access to different types of technology that they would not have access to otherwise. The Qball will help make classroom participation a bit easier- students will be able to be heard and project their voices around the classroom.

These resources will let my students take a hands on approach to learning.

The Merge Cube will allow us to hold the earth in our hands. It will give us access to examine the smaller parts of the world, as well as letting us explore many other topics we would not have easy access to. With the help of the Magic Keyboard, I will be able record data, use the Merge Cube and allow my students to also help record data easier.
