Because of your generosity, my students now walk into our room excited to see what new stories they can dive into each day. The shelves have gone from \"kind of empty\" to a place they rush to as soon as they finish their morning work or independent tasks. It has been such a joy to watch students who once struggled to find books they liked now discovering authors, genres, and topics they truly connect with.\r\n\r\nThese new books have helped us build important reading skills like identifying theme, making inferences, and building vocabulary, but the biggest change has been in their confidence and excitement as readers. Reading time now feels calm, focused, and full of purpose. Students are recommending books to each other, asking thoughtful questions, and taking pride in choosing texts that challenge them in the best way.\r\n\r\nThere are already a few standout moments. One student who rarely chose to read for fun has become completely hooked on graphic novels from the new collection. Another student who loves animals has been carrying around one of the new nonfiction books every day, eager to share a new fact with the class. Moments like these are happening because of you.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has truly made a difference in our classroom.
