Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school is a second home for them where they feel happy and safe. Despite the hardships they are facing with school being closed, they are eager to learn and thrive.

I want to provide my students with snacks for my students.

Snacks are an integral component of the afternoon life in school.

My students have lunch at 10:15 am, and these snacks will keep them alert, motivated and energized to continue learning throughout the day.

Most of my students do not bring in a daily snack and get hungry especially in the afternoon.

Your donations of cookies, fruit snacks, crackers and juice, and water will provide the opportunity for each student to receive a snack on a daily basis. These snacks will help the students maintain their energy and keep them alert and ready to learn throughout the rest of the day. Providing appropriate nutrition will also increase brain functioning to process critical information in each and every subject at school.
