The materials requested in this projects will help my students with the daily struggles that they come across socially and emotionally. ( Using emotion cards and booklets, blocks and dolls for play therapy) In addition, these materials will help them gain a better understanding and help them cope throughout the school year. The guidance office is a safe space for our students. They enjoy coming to me when they are in need of additional support. Having these materials will help me better address their needs and provide them with strategies. Also , with the materials I chose , many of them relate to the daily struggles they come across in school and at home.
