My Students

What do you remember about your First Grade classroom? For my students, I want them to remember being excited about learning new things at school, and how their First Grade classroom was a home away from home.

My students are energetic, curious, and enthusiastic about learning new things in hands-on and untraditional methods!

I want to foster an environment where students learn to have a positive attitude towards themselves, and encourage their classmates instead of putting them down. The students need a positive learning environment in order for meaningful learning to take place.

My Project

With this easel, I will be able to teach students in the classroom new concepts in a fun and interactive way. They students will be able to come up to the dry erase side and practice making new words or use magnets to practice math concepts!

My virtual students will also benefit from this easel!

I make pre-recorded videos teaching math and phonics skills for my students at home. This easel will be used during my videos to show concepts to the kiddos at home so they feel like they are right in the class with us!
