Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders are learning Spanish as a second language, they need games, books and resources to become readers, to practice and be more exposed to the second language in creative ways.

I want my students to be able to discover the power of words and then to use that power to be able to reach a whole new world of stories, songs, poems by reading in Spanish.

I want to help them be more engaged and fall in love with learning another language.

I believe in the power of enjoyment and creativity, these materials will help me bring more joy and authentic interactions in my classroom, giving all my students the opportunity to participate and learn with every activity.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
