My Students

My students are simply the best! They are kind, curious, charismatic young adults who have a variety of interests, lived-experiences, needs, and strengths.

Technology is used in my classroom every day.

Much of the work we do daily in the classroom is paper-free. My students are learning in a way that is technology-driven, creative, and teaches them to use the resources surrounding them. This is the way of the future!

Throughout the day, I see all ages of high schoolers, with multiple students using the same resources.

My Project

My students often create projects after reading novels, poems, and pieces of literature. Having a Cricut Joy with various vinyl and accessories in the classroom would allow students to explore different mediums while also broadening their creativity in the creation of their unique projects.

Two of the classes I teach include Modern Fiction/Non-fiction and Mythology - both of which are very project-based.

These classes, along with my English classes could greatly benefit from this fun, easy-to-use machine.
