Because we use technology every day in the classroom (from journal prompts to completing assignments), Chromebooks are used in each class period. Currently, my students spend a lot of time trying to locate their assigned Chromebook number rather than getting to work right when getting to class. Plugging in Chromebooks at the end of class using my current storage is chaotic, and oftentimes Chromebooks are left unplugged and therefore uncharged. Having a 30-bay charging station not only frees up space in my classroom to be used by students in small groups, but also allows for pick up/return times to go more smoothly. Finally, after a visit from the fire marshal last year, it was determined that more efficient and safe plug-in use is necessary. This cart would help to safely plug in all 30 Chromebooks at one time.
