Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My first graders learn best when they can work together, share ideas, and build confidence as a classroom community. Our classroom tables are where students practice reading, solve math problems, complete science investigations, create artwork, and collaborate with classmates every day.

New classroom tables would provide a safe, comfortable, and organized learning environment where every child has the space they need to succeed.

Flexible, sturdy tables encourage teamwork, communication, and hands-on learning while allowing me to easily group students for small-group instruction and differentiated activities.

In first grade, students are developing essential academic and social skills. Having inviting learning spaces helps them stay engaged, participate in discussions, and build positive relationships with their peers. Whether we are working on phonics, writing stories, using math manipulatives, or completing STEM challenges, our tables are at the heart of every lesson.

Your generosity will help transform our classroom into a welcoming learning environment where students can collaborate, problem-solve, and grow together. These tables will be used year after year, benefiting many future classes of eager first graders.
