Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My PK students are busy little learners. Many students have limited experiences when they arrive at school. They develop new skills everyday and learn through hands-on activities. One of our centers is art. This is a hub of creation where the students' process is more more important than the end product.

An easel and art table makes creating more developmentally impactful.

Working on the vertical surface of the easel builds motor function and allows us to use different materials. Having the art table gives us space to collaborate, organize materials efficiently, and use it's bins to expand our use of multi-sensory materials. The impact of having these foundational pieces will affect the creation of art in my class for many years to come.

We would be so grateful to enhance our experiences with foundational pieces of furniture that allow us to create art easier and more authentically in our classroom!
