This year, my students have an extra art period built into their enrichment hour, and we've been diving deeply into the collage process. Your donated materials have already transformed our lessons and inspired creativity in ways I couldn't have imagined.\r\n\r\nWhen the new supplies arrived, the students gathered around the table with wide eyes and huge smiles. I heard a chorus of, \"We get to use these?!\" One student immediately picked up the paper crimper and said, \"This is going to make my collage look fancy!\" Another excitedly tested the hole punches and began planning a \"cheese universe\", tiny cheese-shaped holes for planets, and constellations formed from perfectly punched stars. Their imaginations took off before we even began the lesson.\r\n\r\nWe've already begun incorporating the new materials into our collage unit. The paper crimper has been an instant favorite, adding texture and a little bit of \"razzle-dazzle\" to their layered compositions. The decorative scissors are helping students create bold borders and zig-zag edges that elevate their artwork, and the Posca markers have become the go-to tool for adding lettering, outlines, and small detailed designs. Suddenly, every student feels like a real mixed-media artist.\r\n\r\nYour support has brought creativity, confidence, and joy into our enrichment hour. You didn't just donate supplies—you opened new doors for my students to explore, imagine, and make art they are proud of. Thank you for investing in their creative journey.","fullyFundedDate":1756153406742,"projectUrl":"project/art-choice-stations/9642676/","projectTitle":"Art Choice Stations","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Glover","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5658495_orig.jpg?crop=1552,1552,x0,y846&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754173862132","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5658495"},{"teacherId":9644383,"projectId":8619158,"letterContent":"I want to start of by saying thank you, without your help and support my students wouldn't have the materials needed to be successful this school year. \r\n\r\nWe are currently using the headphones to complete any assessment/test needed.
