This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are a group of very active and curious kindergartners. They come to school each and every day full of excitement and enthusiasm. It is my challenge to keep them learning and growing in every way.

My students come from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences.

We have a large population of second language learners from many different countries. Most of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are very happy to be in school. They are all excited when they learn something new.

My Project

My students come to school each day happy and ready to learn. One of the most important jobs I have during these times, besides teaching is to make sure I can keep them as safe as possible.

I want my children to be in a classroom with the cleanest air possible.

They need to be able to move around safely during our day. Kindergarteners are very active, and our air is always moving. I want to be sure that the air is being filtered all day long.

This large room air filter will help me to continue to keep my classroom air as clean as possible. My students are very good at sanitizing their hands every time we enter or exit our room. They understand the importance of wearing a mask and are very good at it. The extra filters will help me to ensure the air purifier is always going.

Please help me to provide my students with clean air so they can continue to stay healthy.
