Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a K-5 Spanish dual-immersion school in Sonoma, California. Our students are native Spanish speakers and native English speakers who together are learning to become fully bilingual and bi-literate individuals. Coming back from Distance Learning we are striving to create the best learning environment for all of our students. Learning a second language is difficult in person and has extra challenges coming back from being online for over a year!

All of our 1st graders are eager to learn and excited about collaborating with their teacher and classmates every day!

Our first graders are enthusiastic learners and look forward to new lessons and engaging materials every day. They are learning to express themselves through writing, illustrating and collaborating with each other. They love hands-on activities where they can talk and learn together a new language.

My Project

My students have faced so many hardships these past two years with everything going on all around us. I want to add some fun and exciting classroom rewards. They need rewards to help keep them motivated.

I would like to help reward my students for their hard work and good behavior with some special prizes.

I want to put some extra special treats in our reward bin like pop-its, squishy animals, special erasers and many more little treats. I plan on using these rewards to help motivate my students to keep on learning. Thank you in advance for helping me give my students awesome rewards for all their hard work!
