One special moment was seeing students enjoy a snack before beginning a reading and writing lesson. Having something to eat helped them settle down, stay focused, and participate more actively in their learning.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the snacks, they were very excited and grateful. Many of them smiled and immediately asked when they would be able to enjoy them. They were happy to know that snacks would be available when they felt hungry.\r\n\r\nOur next step is to continue using these resources to support students during literacy, math, and small-group instruction. With their basic needs met, students will be better prepared to concentrate, complete their work, and grow academically. The materials have helped a lot in my classroom. The sticker paper has been very useful in organizing and labeling. I was able to organize my classroom label with labels I designed and printed onto the sticker paper. I was also able to label my class's writing folders with their names so that the students can easily find their own materials. \r\n\r\nThe different pens from this project will be used by the students to develop their writing.
