These new books will be added to our bilingual classroom library for use during reading sessions as well as to check out and take home for nightly reading practice. The older students generally check out 2-3 books a week, and take great pride in either writing a book report, or taking an Accelerated Reading quiz to show what they have learned. By donating to this project, my students will be captivated by the high interest titles at their level, providing much needed practice and joy of reading in order to grow their self-esteem and create many lifetime readers!
