My Students

Providing for the needs eighth grade students in middle school will certainly be one of my greatest challenges as a professional educator. Not only will these students demand more of my time and patience; so, too, will they require specialized instructional strategies in a structured environment that supports and enhances their learning potential.

The students in my class are very diverse in ethnicity, race, social class, and needs.

Our school is a Title I and international baccalaureate school; students mostly come from multiple cultural backgrounds and face a lot of challenges in their everyday lives both at school and at home.

They are all very good kids, and I want them to be successful. I love them and want to help them overcome academic difficulties and develop strong reading and writing skills.

Curious, enthusiastic, and creative, my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of challenge. I want to give them the best education I can give and help them to be successful in their lives and in their future.

My Project

I am requesting a color printer. Due to the public health crisis, online education is what many students are experiencing today. However, not all learn better on this mode of learning. Many of them preferred to work on paper.

The color printer will allow the teacher to print our colored learning activities and packets that will help the students to understand better the learning content.

Color handouts can get more attention and fosters creative environment to learn.

In my eighth grade science class, it will help them understand the electromagnetic spectrum which shows color of different wavelengths. When students use color print outs, it gives them concentration, productivity of learning and it is mood lifter.
