My Students

Although many of my students face unique challenges, they come in eager to learn. Most of my students live in poverty and their parents hope that their child's education will lead to a better future. Ninety eight percent of my students are a minority, with fifty percent being English Language Learners.

Many kindergartners have not had a preschool experience and I want to do my best to make it a fantastic year for them.

My students are very bright children who enjoy learning. They feel a sense of pride whenever they grasp a new concept and can not wait to share what they learned with every adult who asks.

My Project

Schools are back for in person learning this school year.

With all of the focus on and money being spent on Covid, our basic classroom supplies have been overlooked.

As a teacher it is my responsibility to ensure students get the best education and I need chart paper to make anchor charts, social contracts, rules and procedures, and for content boards. I also need different types of markers to make these items for our classroom.

School districts do not provide classroom teachers with classroom supplies. Classroom teachers depend on parents to send in supplies or purchase items from their own pockets. Help me fund the items that are forgotten.
