As soon as I laid out the mats, the students knew it was time to move and stretch. They would often follow the poses we showed them by modeling the poses seen on the youth yoga pose cards. Sometimes the students would try poses themselves, but we tried to stay close to ensure they did not harm themselves. The cleaning wipes were absolutely needed and appreciated to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the wellness items. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for providing these resources to our students as it gave us additional tools to move, stretch and pose to help us maintain a healthy body (and mind)! \r\n\r\n*I apologize that I forgot to submit the picture of the gym storage. They would look at the colorful pictures and share the animals, objects, events and holidays they recognized! Of course, the holidays was a favorite, including the Thanksgiving meal, the gingerbread house, hearts for Valentine's and the eggs and bunnies for Easter! We discussed various modes of transportation for visiting family during the holidays.\r\n\r\nThe dance break was a big hit as not only did it allow the students to dance but learn different ways to move and incorporate breathing techniques and melting to the carpet during the lesson. The activities was also a favorite of our students. The students would wait as patiently as possible for their turn to match, sort and count objects, click the items that matches the picture, color the graph, build the gingerbread man and more!\r\n\r\nThank you so much for providing these learning opportunities to our students!
