Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Often classroom teachers are put in position to facilitate learning spaces and free time spaces. Rainy days often put students in spaces where they don't get the necessary rest they need before starting their next learning session.

Help my classroom to be a space that students can find peace in by participating in collaborative play.

We will open up our rooms for students to connect, play and read. We will provide games for free time, team time, and rainy days. We will also boost our classroom library with thematic text sets focused on representation of all cultural groups in our classroom space.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
