My Project

The students in my class do not particularly love school or science class. I try to take a hands on approach to science that allows them to have a hands on experience at the level they are at. This includes multiple activities that allow them to explore how the world around them response in certain situations.

In this series of labs, students get to explore chemical reactions and the energy transfer that occurs because of the reaction.

While many schools have plenty of glassware and other materials to handle these labs, I find that I am struggling to have these materials because other teachers are using them.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
