Celebrating Abilities on the Court

Help me give my students materials to fundraise for their inclusion-based Unified Basketball team.

My Project

Our school's Unified Basketball team is inspirational. Students with unique abilities and their typical peers come together to compete against other athletes in our state. Watching this program develop and evolve has been a gift as a special education teacher. Seeing inclusion in action on the basketball court is a gift to both students and spectators.

Due to the nature of this team, we do not have a booster program.

This means we depend heavily on fundraising to make this experience as similar to being on a "typical sports team" as possible. We are asking donors to help us raise funds for t-shirts to sell at our games. The materials from this project will allow our student athletes to design and create shirts for fundraising.

By contributing to this project you are promoting inclusion, helping students improve their social skills, and boost their confidence. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!
