Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year our literacy focus is shifting and we are working even more on the power of decoding (sounding out words). To help our young readers do their best we want to replace old student books that include words that are not decodable with new, engaging texts that will help them use their phonics powers!

This project includes a large number of varied decodable texts for the diverse readers in our classroom.

Some are just starting out their journey in reading, while others are ready to dive into early chapter books! Thank you in advance for helping start these amazing Kindergarteners on a strong reading path!
